Strictly Education awarded new SIMS Accreditation from Capita
The Technology Services division of Strictly Education has recently been awarded accredited status for Capita’s new SIMS Support Team Accreditation Service. Strictly Education is one of only 6 independent providers of school SIMS support services in the UK to have received this rank, and is recognition by Capita of the quality and depth of SIMS support provided by Strictly Education over many years.
Strictly Education achieved accreditation after a thorough evaluation and scoring of its current service provision benchmarked against national Capita SIMS Support standards. Overall the scores were in the very good range with a significant number of secondary schools marking Strictly Education in the excellent range.
As part of their new SIMS Accreditation Service, Capita have introduced a thorough structured approach to the assessment of SIMS support teams comprising school visits, surveys and team observation. Accreditation is then awarded based on the assessment of three areas:
- Supporting schools in their use of SIMS
- Championing school improvement
- Leadership and management
As stated by Head of Technology Services, Charlie Bennett, “We are delighted to receive accreditation by Capita as it reflects the outstanding commitment of the team to provide the highest levels of SIMS helpdesk, training and consultancy support to our customers.”
