Strictly Education are part of the HLTA National Assessment Partnership (HNAP) and are the regional provider of HLTA assessment covering the regions of London, South East/South West England, Essex, Hertfordshire, Herefordshire, Suffolk and the West Midlands.
HLTA status is awarded to support staff who meet the HLTA standards through school based evidence confirmed by the external assessment process. Assessment is carried out by Strictly Education through HNAP. Achievement of the HLTA status demonstrates that the HLTA effectively contributes to planning and delivery of teaching within their current school role.
Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) work with teachers to support teaching, learning and pupil achievement.

Workforce planning should start with an understanding of the organisation, which means looking both externally at the evolving regulatory context and shifting pupil needs in addition to examining strategy and culture. A proactive approach can ensure that establishments have the right people in the right roles at the right time and are able to adapt to the changing needs.
